QUI EST-ELLE?

Suspended in disbelief. Frequently breaking the fourth wall. Collector of novelty watches and Kewpie dolls. I run Fashion Tips From Comic Strips and I am the resident superheroic sartorialist on ComicsAlliance.
This one time, I wore a Snorlax Dress. This other time, I was in an Art Brut video. THE END.

I got a couple of new VERAMEAT jewels on Fab today ♡
Side note: They still have the tiny cheshire cat ring (that I got last month) in stock~
After being surrounded by 2’+ of snow this weekend, Moon Boots are definitely a legit investment.
Since I feel like I’ve become a bit stagnant as a photographer (due to the convenience of my iPhone (dont worry instagram i still luv u)), one of my resolutions is to delve back into non-digital photography.
So I treated myself to these two Lomo cameras on sale. I can’t wait to document all my adventures (without depleting my iPhone battery).
Batman iPhone Chara-Cover: c/o Fab
Obligatory “I just got a Batman iPhone Chara-Cover” selfie.
After much deliberation, I ended up choosing the Batman case primarily because his chibi-proportions reminded me of little Batman from JL8 :)
Anyway, I’ll post better photos and a proper review on my blog later this week~!

Necessary purchases of the day: Star Wars x Moleskine notebook & a baby blue Japanese talking watch.
01.23.13 - daily watch : my new Nooka watch (currently on sale on Fab)
Fact: almost every Nooka watch looks like a retro sci-fi wrist communicator.
I just ordered these tiny creatures for my fingers (tiny dachshunds & a tiny cat, by VERAMEAT).
And this Nooka watch*, also.

DC Comics & Marvel iPhone Chara-Covers, $28 each, available on Fab
Fab is currently having a sale on the much anticipated DC & Marvel iPhone Chara-Covers right now, which were previewed at San Diego Comic Con 2012. The Chara-Covers will be in stores early Spring 2013, but grab one on sale from now till Tuesday!
Decisions, decisions…
Finally decided - I ordered the Batman case*.
*because chibi iPhone Batman looks a bit like JL8 Batman
Superheroes vs. Typography, by Matthew Olin
Prints on sale on Fab.
Trying to decide if I’d rather add some Hobbit realness to my wardrobe or jack Red Riding Hood’s steez… Thoughts?
BONUS - an excerpt from a review on American Apparel:
Well, I looked really dorky when I put it on. I ordered the cranberry and looked like one of the eccentric people who went to my high school and wore capes and stuff.
Sold.
Gimme every Gemma Lister collar, please.
I’m pretty sure that my new room needs a large, disembodied LEGO head.
