QUI EST-ELLE?

Suspended in disbelief. Frequently breaking the fourth wall. Collector of novelty watches and Kewpie dolls. I run Fashion Tips From Comic Strips and I am the resident superheroic sartorialist on ComicsAlliance.
This one time, I wore a Snorlax Dress. This other time, I was in an Art Brut video. THE END.

NYCC 2011 swag: vintage DC Comics game tiles/pieces… ?
At the same booth where we got my vintage Star Wars finds, I found this bag filled with 20-30 plastic DC Comics tiles. I presume that these were game pieces, but I haven’t been able to track down any further information on them. Anyway, I plan on transforming most of these into pins*.
*NOTE: the Boyfriend Wonder already called dibs on Lois Lane.

NYCC 2011 swag: tiny paintings of Dr. Mrs. the Monarch & Hellboy, by Katie Cook.
Since I already got a tiny Batgirl from Katie at SDCC, I requested a tiny Dr. Mrs. the Monarch this time around. I also surprised AK (who couldn’t come with me to NYCC) with a tiny painting of Hellboy, snugging an even tinier kitten. ♡

Our friend Drew (who was working at the Harlequin Romance booth) wanted a photo of us in front of his booth… so we pulled the best impromptu romance novel cover pose we could get. Shame that I didn’t capture this shot with my nice camera too (curses!).
